Gary Nicholls is an APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist with 25 years of experience. Gary recently joined the clinic after working in the AFL system for more than 15 years, with 13 years as a senior physiotherapist at Collingwood Football Club and more recently head physiotherapist at Melbourne Football Club.
Gary continues to be involved in the AFL with a consulting role at Melbourne and is the current executive officer of the AFL physiotherapists association. Gary has worked extensively with elite and amateur athletes from a variety of sports including: AFL, athletics, triathlon, squash, soccer and netball, both in Australia and overseas. Gary has worked for 19 years as a senior physiotherapist at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre.
Gary Nicholls, as a sports physiotherapist has a particular interest in hip, hamstring and groin problems, spinal conditions, knee and ankle injuries, and calf, achilles and general lower limb issues. Gary has a particular interest in complex sporting injuries, and in utilizing elite athlete management principles to assess and treat both the elite and recreational runner and athlete.
